The Amee Farm Lodge hosted an exotic mix of Indian and Irish guests attending Pittsfield's first outdoor wedding of the season!

Congratulations go out to Reshma and Ryan on the occasion of their wedding this last weekend. Most of the wedding party stayed at the Amee Farm Lodge and it was an absolute delight to meet them all. The weather was great (which not a given in April) and the outdoor ceremony went ahead as planned at the Riverside Farm. We are attaching a few photos taken by Simon the Innkeeper this last weekend.

The usual breakfasts at the Amee Farm Lodge were supplemented each day with yummy Indian delights! On the right is a photo of Innkeeper Jessica with guest Baiju.

Grace's Bat Mitzvah

The Amee Farm was bustling this past weekend...we had the pleasure of hosting Ms. Grace Weinberg's fabulous Bat Mitzvah. Grace is the gorgeous and talented (US Luge Team) daughter of great friends Sloan and Andy Weinberg of Middlebury, VT. Her dad Andy is the race director of all the Peak Races that occur in Pittsfield on the Green Mountain Trails just outside out front door. The Weinbergs are one of our most favorite families of all time and we see them all over Pittsfield all year long (due to snowshoe races, trail running races and obstacle course races- fun!)

Grace invited friends and family to enjoy an early elegant dinner followed by a dance party courtesy of a party bus filled with 50 friends from Middlebury. The kids danced to great music and enjoyed a super sundae ice cream bar. Grace changed into several beautiful dresses throughout the night and looked stunning - her parents and grandparents were so proud. It was a laid back, fun, family weekend at the Amee Farm. What a perfect way to kickoff our season of weddings and special events!

A Beautiful Wedding

 Liz & Will's (late) autumn wedding at Amee Farm was absolutely lovely. Enjoying the warm fires, great company, chill in the air and peace that settles in the valley just before the snow flies. Photographers Rick and Paula from Cronin Hill captured the relaxed and intimate feel of the weekend. For Liz and Will, a couple that spends most of their free time in Vermont, they were right at home. It was a beautiful event:)

Amee Farm in Autumn

The Amee Farm is enjoying an amazingly colorful fall after a big harvest in August & September. Despite Hurriucane Irene's force, the Amee Farm Lodge sustained no damage and was able to provide much needed, fresh vegetables, meats and eggs to the town residents of Pittsfield during the difficult weeks following the storm. A new csa has been formed in our community and is thriving thanks to the local support. And our lodge has enjoyed wedding guests and hiking vacationers all summer and fall. We are very grateful that Pittsfield has quickly rebuilt itself and proud to be part of this special town. Look forward to our October brides and grooms and their families!
